About Me

Work Life

I’m all about shaping digital products that make people’s lives easier and better. I have many years of experience working as a UI designer. Recently, I designed scalable, accessible experiences for an enterprise B2B cybersecurity company. I worked with UX, product, and engineering to build consistent, efficient, and functional experiences.

With a background in visual design and web production, I’ve worked across other jobs and industries. I designed and integrated brands across websites and emails for a tech events company, designed websites for a science nonprofit, education, and for various small businesses. Before that, I studied visual communication design, got my start in branding, web and email design.

My UX Lead named me “The Design Governess,” as I’m keeper of the design system libraries.

My UX Lead named me “The Design Governess,” as I was keeper of the style, component and pattern libraries. That captures something real about how I work: I notice things that quietly create problems downstream, and I'd rather fix the system than patch the symptom.

Looking Ahead

I’m also fascinated by how psychology and design intersect—how thoughtful design can influence behavior, guide decisions, and shape how people feel. Since UI Designer roles have shifted to emphasize more UX and AI orchestration, my goal is to evolve into a Design Strategist / Behavior Architect / Experience Curator. This integration results in creating environments that make the right behavior feel natural, mastering understanding of people, their behaviors, and the invisible decisions that shape their choices.

I also have the judgement to decide whether an experience feels like your brand or like every other AI-generated product. Defining quality, articulating standards, making taste explicit. Explaining why a decision exists matters more than how fast it was made.

I care most about products that actually fit into people's lives, and I'm looking to bring that work to industries where design can have a more direct human impact.

I’m based in Northern California, working remotely.
